We’ve just about recovered from “The Nationals”, aka Scale ModelWorld. A good time was had by all, and we should have some photos shortly.
The date for the next Modelfest has been pencilled in as Sunday 23rd September 2007.
New model photos by Andy Eaton have been added to the gallery, including his Mustang, Nieuport 11 Bebe, Sabre, and a number of excellent figures.

Another year, another Modelfest! Feedback from the day has been very positive, and first cut of the figures says we’ve raised over £1,000 for charity. Many thanks to everyone who exhibited, attended or helped out. There’s a few general photos here.

Only two months to Modelfest! A list of the clubs and traders who have confirmed so far has been added to the site.
Tony Horton won the July Members’ Trophy competition with his Avenger. There are photos of all the competition entrants, thanks to Stew Hargrave.
It’s airshow season, so further thanks to Tony for providing us with an F4E Phantom walkround, and other photos from the Air Tattoo at Fairford. There’s also photos from the Farnborough Airshow, and from our trip to Brooklands Museum.
As well as the competition winners, we also have new photos of Sam Wilson’s Marder and Pete Readman’s Harrier and Fulmar

Congratulations to John McIllmurray for winning the 2005 Model of the Year Competition with his 1/72nd Vickers Wellington. John is moving away, and so we all wish him well, and hope to see him soon.
