The Short SC.1 first flew in April 1957 and was built as a research aircraft into vertical take-off flight, and was powered by 5 Rolls Royce RB 108 engines.
The kit is a Maintrack resin model in 1:72 scale that I added a detailed cockpit to. Panel lines and access panels were created in Photoshop and produced as decals using 'Experts Choice' special inkjet paper. The ladder was scratchbuilt using an authentic photo of the SC.1 being serviced.
