The model is a reissue of a 1960's AMT/ERTL kit in 1:25 scale. It's more or less built straight from the box but only after spending ages scouring the internet for period pics of it.
The plans tell you to paint the hood/upholstery a light beige but most (but not all) period pics show it as white. Other details like the colour of the dummy supercharger found on the net. Also you may have noticed the lack of a "monkeemobile" logo on the doors - this is because it turns out that for most of it's TV appearances this was not present.
The actual car was built by famous US customiser Dean Jeffries based on a 1966 Pontiac GTO
